n 2016, Cyclepods took on our biggest project to date. We designed and built 8 new Cycle Hubs across the South West Trains Networks as part of their Cycle-Rail Integration project, in partnership with the Department for Transport, local authorities and the Rail Delivery Group.
This pioneering Cycle Hub design is the product of Cyclepods innovation and creativity meeting Waltham Forest Council’s forward-thinking ambition. Leyton Super Hub is now a beacon for Waltham Forest and a benchmark for further multi-level hubs in London.
Cyclepods were contacted by South West Train on behalf of Network Rail and Transport for London, to provide additional cycle storage facilities at London Waterloo Station, the country’s busiest rail station with over 96 million entries and exits per year.
Lewes Cycle Hub was a full turnkey project for Cyclepods. We were involved in every step of the process from designing the initial Hub concept to carry out installation and fully equipping the Cycle Hub with state-of-the-art facilities.
Brighton Cycle Hub is Cyclepods’ biggest and possibly proudest achievement to date. With a huge 500 space storage facility, security lighting and state of the art entry and exit access technology all provided by us, it is a fantastic addition to Brighton station and the town’s cycling community.
We installed two types of bike storage at the Boots Company Headquarters in Nottingham to cater for the growing number of employees choosing to commute by bike. The first phase of the project was installing 32 Black Streetpods, giving 64 bike spaces, outside and under an existing shelter.
Cyclepods are Broadgate estates chosen cycle parking experts. over the last 3 years we have supplied and installed various cycle parking equipment across several sites including; More London, Canary Wharf and the Corn exchange.
