Ergonomic and aesthetic
Ergonomic [adj] 1 The science of people-machine relationships.
2 An ergonomically designed product implies that the device blends smoothly with a person's body or actions.
Aesthetic [adj] 1 Of or concerning the appreciation of beauty or good taste:
the aesthetic faculties. 2 Characterized by a heightened sensitivity to beauty.
3 Informal. Conforming to accepted notions of good taste.
The Cyclepod range was designed with both these factors in mind. We designed the Cyclepod to suit a 90% percentile of men and women aged six to sixty-five. We also made it look pretty!
Curved lines not only aid the design and its aesthetic appeal, they also form the function of the unit, allowing bikes to be easily rolled into place.
