Horsham Cycle Hub is the latest Southern Rail Cycle Hub that Cyclepods have installed at Horsham Station. The Hub has 130 bike spaces using the Easylift+ two-tier storage system and is fully equipped with CCTV, Bike Pump & Repair Stand, Motion Sensor Lighting and Secure Access Control System.
The whole project was designed, constructed and fitted by Cyclepods using our ‘Cycle Hub Package’ design. The Hub structure is made from a steel ‘skeleton’ with weatherproof, polycarbonate cladding.
As with the other Southern Cycle Hubs that Cyclepods have installed at Brighton & Lewes, the access control system at the new Horsham Cycle Hub is linked to Southern Rail’s Key card, the smart travelcard! Anyone with the Key has unlimited, free access to all the Southern Cycle Hubs and can also upload tickets for travel so now commuters have a one card system to give them a complete journey!
‘The Key’ is Southern Rail’s travelcard which also doubles up to allow access to Lewes and Brighton Cycle Hubs. It is free to order from Southern’s website and can be topped up with tickets for travelling on their services, with access and storing your bike in station cycle hubs being free!
